The Design Philosophy
Coastal Meets Casino
Our interiors are built on a single narrative arc: daylight grill to evening casino, expressed through a restrained coastal palette and architectural wave curves.
Sandstone, timber, linen, and brushed steel keep the restaurant primary. Deep seaweed and traditional green felt introduce the casino as a genuine, physical, adult evening experience.
The result is a venue that feels unmistakably Bondi by day and quietly sophisticated after dark, without ever losing the warmth of an Australian grill room.
Material Palette
Three Materials That Shape the Space
Every surface, fixture, and finish at Bondi Casino Grill is chosen to feel honest, tactile, and connected to the coast. These three materials do most of the work.
Timber
Recycled Australian hardwoods in tables, beams, and screens add warmth and a sense of craftsmanship.
Timber is finished with natural oils to highlight grain and create a contrast with the cool stone.
Ocean Light
Large windows and skylights capture the changing Bondi light, from bright midday to golden dusk.
Light is diffused through linen curtains, while evening lighting shifts to warm, low-level lamps.

The main dining room is arranged to maximise ocean views, with tables positioned along the window line and a central open kitchen.
Seating for 120 guests across indoor and terrace areas means there is always a corner that feels both lively and personal.
Acoustic panels ensure conversation is easy even when full, so the room stays warm rather than noisy.
The Terrace
Alfresco Bondi
The terrace extends the dining experience outdoors, with sandstone pavers, timber pergolas, and uninterrupted ocean breezes.
Heated for cooler evenings, it is ideal for sunset drinks before dinner or a long lunch when the sea air is at its best.

From Daylight Grill to Real Tables After Dark
As the afternoon light fades, the venue changes register. The same sandstone and timber give way to deeper greens, felt-lined rooms, and the focused calm of a real physical casino.

A dedicated room with custom poker tables, leather chairs, and low lighting for focused play.
Tables are full-size and professionally maintained. Dealers are trained and friendly.
